Playbook-GPS Integration

Event + Tournament Management

During large tournaments, teams from across the country converge on a specific city to compete. Event managers strike deals with local hotels, reserving hundreds or even thousands of rooms exclusively for participating teams. Failure to secure enough rooms could mean exclusion from the tournament. Prior to GPS acquiring Playbook365, managing these logistics was a challenge. However, the integration of GPS and Playbook365 revolutionized the process. Now, event administrators can efficiently negotiate with hotels ensuring room reservations are made within the allotted time frame and can easily manage the teams participating in the tournament through the GPS platform. This seamless integration allows administrators to oversee tournaments and team data effectively, providing greater control over the entire event experience. My role in crafting this transformative solution has redefined tournament management, enhancing the event experience.

What Am I Designing?

I pushed for round of interviews with stakeholders and clients to make sure that gave us great insight into the features they needed to easily manage teams. These interviews were fundamental to the the project, since while we were brainstorming many unknowns arose. These are the features they needed the most to manage the teams.
